Prior to adopting a mobile working solution most organisations rely on cumbersome paper-based workflows that are not only inefficient, but also deny organisations a real-time visibility of their workforce's job progression. To combat these issues, Kirona have developed our Job Manager solution.

Job Manager is designed to handle the complete lifecycle of a job; from its creation at contact point through to its allocation in the office, and completion by a worker. The Job Manager solution has two main components; the office solution (Job Manager Server) and the field operative based solution (Job Manager Mobile).
 
In the Office 
Job Manager Server allows users to see and manage all of the jobs the organisation is undertaking. These jobs are those that have been manually created in the Job Manager Server interface or jobs that have been pulled in from third party systems such as a corporate CRM, ERP or Helpdesk. Jobs are then manually allocated to the workforce or they can be optimally scheduled in bulk using Kirona's iScheduler sister product. 
 
In the Field
For the field worker, Job Manager Mobile allows them to view their work on their mobile device (PDA, Smartphone, Tablet PC etc.) in real-time. Comprehensive job details and history are provided to them, and the organisations custom workflow takes them through the various processes of the job. The job details are then recorded electronically on their mobile device and uploaded wirelessly into the office system.
 
 

In the Office
 
Job Manager Server allows office users to view the real-time status of jobs as mobile workers progress them. The integrated Management Dashboard also allows users to view the diaries of mobile workers including, their daily job progression, and their diary utilisation. This allows Job Manager Server to operate as a workforce management tool, as well as a job management tool.
