Kirona has helped concierge and caretakers services across the Social Housing Sector to increase the number of work programme tasks they can carry out with their existing workforce, and improve the quality of management and audit information relating to planned and ad-hoc tasks, for example improving the costing information for service recharges.

We have helped organisations achieve this through the delivery of our mobile caretaker’s product.

Product Overview
The Caretaker’s solution utilises our Job Manager product to enable caretakers/concierge to view their daily work programmes electronically through a mobile device (usually a PDA or Notebook). The software allows full iTracker functionality to view where officers are on a map and also in real time record the start and end of programme tasks. In addition officers can record any ad-hoc tasks they have undertaken which fall outside of their programme tasks. At the click of a button digital photographs can be taken and uploaded to use as supporting evidence against tasks undertaken, and full lone worker safety is provided via Kirona's iSageguard product and the use of its panic buttons and expiry timers.

Daily work programme information is quickly captured via the software and this is then sent over the mobile network to automatically update relevant office systems. In this way, no time is spent re-keying paperwork into office systems and full time management and audit information is captured automatically as part of the mobile process. This mobile process enhances the organisations ability to prove content undertaken for service charges, provides full loan worker safety and enables better scheduling of high priority tasks based on current workload and location.
