Product Overview
FFA for Revenues and Benefits uses Kirona's Job Manager product. Job Manager enables officers to view their property, recovery or claim visits with the relevant information through a mobile device (usually a Tablet PC, PDA or Notebook) and to see a complete history of the property, account or claim. This ensures they always have the necessary information in hand to complete their visit using intelligent scripting (Mobile Workflow) in a single visit and if they don’t they can carry out a search at the click of a button. The iScheduler functionality enables organisations to efficiently allocate work automatically to the most suitable officer and provides customers with an opportunity to choose an appointment date and slot.
Account, property or claim information is quickly captured via the software and this is then sent over the mobile network to automatically update relevant office systems. The mobile document management functionality ensures that any supporting evidence or images can be uploaded and indexed automatically into existing EDM (Electronic Document Management) systems reducing the need to take paper information away from the customer’s home. In this way, no time is spent re-keying or scanning paperwork into office systems and officers don’t need to travel into the office to drop-off work. This provides each officer with more time to carry out more visits and significantly reduces the time to process new and change of circumstances claims. Additional benefits include an increase in the amount of Council Tax and NNDR arrears via internal bailiff visits and increase the number of property inspections and single person discount validations.
