Kirona’s Intelligent Mobile [Motile] Asset Management application provides organisations with a tool which enables their mobile rounds workers and maintenance teams to meet customer expectations and drive more efficient working practices.

The nature of asset management often means that maintenance teams spend much of their time in the field in order to carry out their day to day on-site visits. As a result of being out of the office for such extensive periods, field workers time is often dominated by travel to the office in order to pick up works orders before proceeding to a particular site. Likewise, they generally need to return to the office and re-key the data from their paper based forms into the office system.

Kirona’s Mobile Asset Management solution delivers greater efficiency levels by enabling field based operatives to view tasks in their diary from any location using any mobile device (PDA, Tablet PC, Laptop PC etc.), enabling them to travel directly to their task.
The mobile application also eliminates paper based forms from the management process, by replacing them with Kirona’s Intelligent Scripts; guided, electronic question based interfaces. The Intelligent Scripts are tailor made for the various processes field operatives carry out and are filled in using their mobile device. Once complete, the scripts are submitted and populate the back office in real-time therefore removing the need to return to the office and re-key data.
