Motile Development Method
The Motile Development Method (MDM) brings together the rapid application development software technique with a detailed understanding of the unique challenges of mobile and flexible working.
The first step involves analysing the worker context for the efficiency pain points, capturing the requirements in a structured repository designed specifically for motile analysis.
The design phase produces a specification for the Kirona Motile Generators (KMG) to rapidly generate a first cut prototype for evaluation with the client.
KMG then automates the bringing together of the appropriate Motile components and generates a new foundation of intelligent mobile screens. These foundation screens are optimised for fast access to back office systems over a low bandwidth network such as GPRS (3G and HSDPA are a bonus rather required).
Once the foundation is generated the appropriate intelligent mobile components are configured to compliment the specific business process.
A phased rollout of the Motile approach delivers early savings that are typically re-invested to achieve greater efficiency and flexibility for the organisation.
