Kirona Messaging System (KMS)
Background
An enterprise-wide mobile messaging framework supporting two-way SMS / MMS and Email messaging. KMS enables two-way communication of business-related information directly to field staff, anywhere and anytime you require.
Overview of the product
KMS Event Manager. Ships with pre-defined “business events” which automatically notify recipient’s mobile or land line numbers, when each event is triggered. e.g.
• SMS/email reminders to tenants regarding imminent repairs appointment
• SMS/email alerts to tenants who have fallen into rent arrears
• SMS/email notifications for registered citizens, about changes in council service delivery e.g. bin collection day moved to different day over holiday period
• SMS/email advertising relating to up and coming community events e.g. theatre, community centre activities
• Inspectors and operatives can be sent their daily appointments/visits by SMS/email
Clients can configure their own additional business events and leverage the ever increasing number of events from their peer organizations, via Kirona support.
