Ottawa Community Housing Corporation (OCHC), the fourth largest social housing provider in Canada, has selected field service management specialist Kirona to manage the productivity of its repairs and maintenance team, and enhance overall tenant satisfaction.
Armed with confidence, as an existing user of Kirona’s software, OCHC is keen to explore the suite of field service management software. The tools could allow individual maintenance workers to be assigned to the most appropriate jobs. This practice would be more effective and efficient since each task could be scheduled, tracked and managed automatically and in real time.
OCHC selected Kirona’s Dynamic Resource Scheduler (DRS) and the latest version of Kirona’s Job Manager mobile workforce application to replace their legacy systems.
Key benefits of selecting Kirona’s software include the seamless integration into OCHC’s existing Housing Management systems, improving the dynamic allocation of resources and management of individual tasks-while meeting a tight implementation schedule.
After a comprehensive review process, OCHC awarded Kirona the contract to roll out 130 DRS and Job Manager Licenses; enough to cover the entire repairs team. The Licenses are expected to be live by March 2019.
Additionally, OCHC was impressed with Kirona’s InfoSuite field workforce analytics and business insight tool. InfoSuite will be considered as part of a second phase of the rollout in 2019. The analytic tool will further enable the corporation to analyze data on the team’s performance and seek improvements.
