Kirona awarded the ISO accreditation hat-trick

Managed by Kirona’s compliance manager, Phil Crewe, and overseen by the British Standards Institute, Kirona have been awarded their third ISO accreditation certificate – ISO 27001 Information Security Management. This latest accreditation is in addition to Kirona’s two other ISO certificates – ISO 9001 Quality Management and ISO 20000-1 Information Technology Service Management.

Phil explains “Kirona is aware that information security is one of the key issues for organisations where there are many potential threats to the confidentiality, integrity and availability of data. It was therefore essential Kirona upgrade its processes and systems to offer its customers a state-of-the-art approach to information security.”

He also states, “Kirona has now been certified by the British Standards Institute as conforming to the standard required by ISO 27001 which is the international standard that describes best practice for an Information Security Management System.”
