Cheshire-based field service management celebrates its 15th birthday as well as another successful year of growth.
March 2018 – Field service management specialist Kirona is celebrating its 15th anniversary as a leading provider of field service management software solutions. The milestone coincides with the company’s latest financial figures, which included an £11m turnover in the last financial year.
Kirona was founded by David Murrey, CEO and Neil Harvey, CTO in 2003. By 2008 the company’s customer base had more than tripled and they were recognised in the Tech Fast500 for significant revenue growth. They have attracted significant investment over the last few years, first from Lloyds Development Capital and then Livingbridge in 2014. They have a reputation for retaining long-serving staff, with nearly a quarter of the workforce achieving 10+ years of service.
Kirona’s early success was a result of the overwhelming shift towards more digitised services, moving away from inefficient and costly paper-based processes in favour of innovative and scalable mobile solutions. The company works in a diverse range of industries including housing, retail, healthcare, construction and utilities. In recent months they have been awarded new contracts with multinational infrastructure group Balfour Beatty, utilities service provider Morrison’s Data Services and leading homeware retailer SCS.
The company has developed a range of software solutions that help businesses improve the productivity and efficiency of their field based workforce through truly dynamic scheduling and digital job management applications.
